The employees told her that their wifi was down and they couldnt place any orders. After a few minutes another customer came in behind us. Not one employee greeted us or spoke to us at all. When we arrived we were looking at the cookies and trying to decide which ones we wanted to order. I took my two young children to celebrate the beginning of the school year and I cant even tell you how disappointed I was in the whole experience. We had heard so many great things about the cookies here and were so excited to try them. We made our first visit to Crumbl on August 13 around 4:30 and it will definitely be our last!! I never leave negative reviews, but I felt strongly that I needed to share our experience. Even going inside the shop with my friends, I never end up buying one. My household always has a box of 4 on the snack table but I never reach for one, and thats saying a lot from a dessert connoisseur. Ive only gone there once, tried their cookies once, maybe twice and just never craved them. Sadly, even with all these qualities, Im giving it a one star because the cookies are way too thick and rich, so much so that it makes me sick to my stomach. All cookies are baked fresh at the store. Of course, they always have their two signature flavors always available, including the good old, traditional chocolate chip and a frosted sugar cookie that is served chilled. The weekly flavors are kept confidential, to keep the mind wandering, and only announced on their website on Sunday night by midnight. Talk about a great tactic to get new and repeating customers. Whats unique of this place is that they have rotating flavors every week. They also do catering business, where these cookies can be bought in bulk in smaller bite sized quantities, so you can also go that route if youre willing to break the bank. These cookies are usually bought individually or by a four pack that comes with a minuet discount. That being said, one cookie can last me a whole week.
These cookies are ginormous! For someone with a sweet tooth, I can only handle a couple bites until I feel sick to my stomach. Perhaps it was the hype that had my expectations set high, only to disappoint. This place had gone viral with everyone from their mom raving their obsession over these sugary treats, plastered all over social media. I was excited to see this cookie shop open up in a state where there isnt much.
